Nice article.

Didn't the US use Disney characters as nose art too ? It would be so ironic, if not, that the Disney characters were more popular as nose art in Romania and the Luftwaffe ( e.g. Galland's Mickey Mouse ) than they were in the country where the Disney Studios were located. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think is a bit ironic.One thing is for sure,American pilots , if they were downed , were happy to know they fell into Romanians hands,not German http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif . I don't know if any of you guys know about this (http://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index.php?showtopic=1613) big thread? Authentic photos and A LOT of history.Give it a check.
