Cool pics, love the passat, brings back memories http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

just an idea, but you want to get down low on some like the last ones, that way you lose the clutter of the background and make the cars stand out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I often rest the camera on the ground and shoot upwards at the item.

as for the Renault Alpine dreams are made of something like that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif shame its a Renault

Love that Renault Alpine

Me too! Never heard of it. It has the look of a car that is too heavy, and a little underpowered. Maybe not thought. It sure is a looker and has some style!

Thanks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Did you own a 1970s Passat in the past? I think it looks cool as hell. Cars from the '70s IMO have this awesome design and look. I'm a Benz guy at heart and my favorite Mercedes' are by far all from the '70s (W123, W116 etc.). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks for the photography tips, I am always open for suggestions. I've got some more classic car show pictures from two events coming up and I went down to the ground to take some shots in those cases. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

LOL @ the Renault comment. They're not that bad actually. I know they've got a bad rep in the US for reliability but they've improved immensely. Also, with cars like Fiat, Alfa, Citroen, Renault, Peugeot, Lancia etc. it's often an EMOTIONAL BUY. Me personally, I'd rather have any car from those above mentioned brands (except the Fiat Multipla!) than a super reliable, but BORING and STERILE Toyota. But that's just me. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It was actually made for mountain races, so it's not as underpowered as it looks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
