I could be remembering it incorrectly but I seen to recall that before, if you had an air-start, (as with QMB,) the throttles would always be at a set position in the air.

As soon as you touched your throttle input device, it would immediately jump to that setting in the game. This was bad news for the 262 because rapid throttle progression was bad news.

After the patch, the throttle now matches your input device. (If you have your joystick throttle set at 64% when the mission starts, it shows 64% once the mission starts).

Am I remembering it correctly?

If so, it's another positive re 1.1b.

It's only funny til someone loses an eye....then it's hilarious
