Maybe the Maddox team is aware of this already, but I just discovered a small glitch tonight. When you try to load the P-47D 27 with rockets and the fuel tank only the 500lb bombs are tacked on automatically. Basically the option to have rockets, fuel tank, and 500lb bombs is in two spots. Its a very minor thing, but I thought it was worth bringing up. By the way, my friend had the same problem, so it is probably in every copy of the game. If others on here could try it and confirm or deny that might be helpful.

Also, the P47 could carry 2x1000lb. bombs, and rockets. I don't think it's an option in the game.

And how's about 5" HVAR? Why they aren't implemented in FB?

Absolutely, we need HVAR's on the P-47, it could carry 10 of them I believe. The current rockets are Bazooka tubes, the HVAR's are much better for things besides tanks. Also, By 1945 many Mustangs had been outfitted to carry I think as many as 8 HVAR's. HVAR's will be awesome in the game because you won't have the drag of the bazooka tubes after you fire them. And I'd like to see napalm tanks on the P-47 as well, they were used quite a bit.

I know they are working on a Tempest, I sure hope they get the rockets correct on that one as well.

I think the D30 models and later had the 5"s HVAR.

And I think the pony had "only" 6 of them.

too bad we can't make our own loadouts!

If somebody will tell me how I will post an example of how IL-2 SHOULD have been done!

What about napalm? The P-47 dropped a lot of napalm in WWII.

In Warbirds and other games the D-25 can carry as much as ten 5" HVAR like the later P-38s. P-51 or Corsair can have 8 of them.

I'm also a bit confused about the bomb loads. I read about 2x 1000lb + 1x 500lb before FB arrived, and those wing racks don't seem to be too weak for that. Apparently it's the other way round in FB - an error? I really was looking forward to having this big US "sturmovik" with a total of 2500lb + 10 5" rockets.
