Okay, lets try this Thursday starting between 5-6pm eastern(US) time, in the dedicated server. Pass it along to as many folks as you can.

We'll also try again on Sunday at 5pm eastern time, same server.

We had good turnout last Thursday, lets see if we can keep it building.

Is there a program or something where you can coordinate for e.g. my time and turn it to yours, if you get what I mean? I have sort of idea what times you mean by eastern and what time it means with me

I can make Sunday btw

We have membership spread out around the world and the time zone thing was a constant source of confusion, especially when you throw daylight savings time into the mix. We finally put a couple of buttons at the top of our BBS log-in page "Zulu Date and Time" and "World Time" (http://www.raf662.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi) which may help you.

Yes Yimmy, Eastern Time is GMT -5 Pacific Time is GMT -8. So in Essance 1700 Eastern translates to 2200 GMT.

Ok I will try and explain in leymans terms I live in the UK which is GMT time so for arguements sakes we'll say 12:00 which is midday, so at the same moment it is roughly
-5Hrs ie 07:00 in washington which is EST,
-6 Hrs 06:00 in Memphis which is CST and
-8 Hrs 04:00 in California which is on PST.
I think thats right if not please dont flame, Im only human and besides Ive just got back from the pub where time has no meaning lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Just a shameless bump to remind people that we are wanting to fill the standalone warbirsofprey server tonight starting at 5 EST. Server IP address can be found at PFSAA (http://www.predatorsquad.com/pfsaa/) or http://www.warbirdsofprey.org/

Are all of your server's gonna be at 5pm EST? Because that means, if I play on that server, I'll have to join at 6 in the morning for me!

Nope, we're open to any suggestions. Sign up at the PFSAA website and participate. We're just getting rolling on this and are open to input as far as times are concerned. We picked 5pm because there are a fair number of Brits and Europeans who play and that time can get them into the game as well as alot of the US players...

well, I Had another First Lastnight, when the Server Reloaded to the Marianas I had a Error "Mission Loading Error "Marianas/online Load INI" Loading Error" Now that is a First for me, but as Speedy can attest, I have alot of Firsts with this thing

Ok, for us stupid types....

I'm kinda curious to check out the server, so I'm assuming it's on hyper lobby? If so, do I just need to download the front end to access the server or connect via IP?

Ok Crease here is something I prepared earlier http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://predatorsquad.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=pfsaa&action=display&num=1107206365

That's one of the reasons I don't play many online games: many of the best servers -and many good buddies- are US, but the hour difference is so great I rarely can join 'em. 5 EST means it will be 23:00 here in Spain. I'd had to stay till 1:00 AM to enjoy the game, but I have to wake up at 5:30 AM to go to work... if they only could set a server in the morning... but then again, it's them who have to work. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

SpeedFellow, i'm aware of how to join an IP game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif My question was.. is this hosted on Hyperlobby? Do I even need the Hyperlobby front end or just an IP? Do I need a merged install or will the stand alone work? If it's IP and I dont need HL... what is the IP?

Speedfellow

I dont Know if this server is hosted on HL ,but you dont need HL to join this server. This is a Stand ALone server so PF standalone is fine as long as youve installed the 3.04 PF patch. The IP address is the the same one as I used in the post 69.9.37.146:21006

Just for added info this server is up 24/7 the times we give are just so we can get as many people playing at one time as possible.
More info about the server can be found at http://www.warbirdsofprey.org/

The server is also hosted on HyperLobby. You can join either way, through IP or HL. The IP can also be found on our PFSAA website. Turnout has been growing, so all are welcome to keep this building.
