For those of you using Google Earth, it's a lot of fun to click around, look at the sites and scope out some nice places to fly over in your civilian flight sim.

Scoping around the SEATAC airport, I panned up to Anchorage, Alaska. As you zoom in, you see there is an airport in the far north-west quadrant of the city. Zoom up close and you can see about 25 fighter jets parked on the tarmac! Looks like maybe F-16's. Guess it turned out to be a base. Prime Minister beware, the US is ready to scramble should Canada decide to mobilize fighters from Vancouver Island! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If you look at RAF Fairford if my memory serves me correctly there is a U2 on the apron http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

No, F-15s I reckon. They wanna hope the Canadians don't come in NOE with them lined up like that, could lose the lot.
