Assassin's creed III new ancestor(s) but without an animus, Desmond is travelling around the world trying to activate the temples stated by Minerva. However he is suffering from the Bleeding effect.
Desmond continues having visions of a new ancestor(s) (maybe even subject 16 as they have Ezio as a common relative) through these new memories he learns the secrets of how to activate the temples, some stuff about the Pieces of Eden (maybe even how to bring some of his ancestors back to life) and learn about those who came before.

Desmond however still suffers from these visions and starts going down subject 16’s path. He is on the brink of “writing symbols on the wall” when Lucy saves him (don’t know how maybe a kiss lol). From there on he can control (or unleash) the bleeding effect and kicks some serious templar ***.

So what do you guys think?

He can't experience subject 16 life as he's not hes ancestor, not even his dad. The memory wouldn't be in the dna. Apart from that i think that there will be an animus because this is the assassins creed series and also... I'm quite tired it's 3 am here in the uk i'm gonna get some sleep but nice theory............zzzzzzzzzzzzz

My main theory is that either in Brotherhood or AC3, Desmond will lose control over the Bleeding Effect.

There was a video where he is somewhat manipulating this (with Lucy, when presumably finding the hidden chamber in Ezios villa).

So after overusing this ability, Desmond will have a hard grip on reality and around the time he is at the brink of it, he'll somehow manage to still get a hold on the AoE and learn to control the Bleeding Effect fully.

Or something like that.

Not to mention we'd be reverting back to a HUGE problem with ACII if we no longer used the Animus in ACIII: No replaying of memories. If you're just Desmond out there in the world... you get one shot and you can't go back and change how it went (at least not easily through menus and such).

That would suck...

That would suck... So you are saying that when you think of something you can only do it once? You cant rethink a memory?
