Please make a back up of your DGEN folder. If you experience any difficulties, simply revert back to your original folder. This is not an official patch (It is a user created mod) but changes very little in the DB files and works just fine.

Installation instructions:

Extract all files and place in your DGEN directory of your PF install. This patch is mostly tested on merge install but should work on the other PF only install as well.

The patch will contain the following below.

Added P-38J USAAF land based career to the New Guinea campaign ( a bit early, not by much)
Added F-4U Corsair land based career to the Guadacanal campaign (a bit early )
Added Ki-61 Tony Career to the New Guinea campaign ( a bit early, )
Added F6F Navy Career to the Marianas (historical)
Added ki-61 Tony career to the JAAF in Tarawa (not historical)

Wow, that is over 400 views in 3 different post and no comments.

Guys just let me know you do not care about these new flyable planes in campaigns so I can stop making them and testing them and just do them for myself.

Thanks in advance.

I dare say they are all busy flying the new campaigns thanks to your patch and are so astounded by the quality of the work that they just can't find the words with which to express their gratitude, Mk2aw http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Cool http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I'll download this when I get home (though I already modified my USMC campaign to include the birdcage corsair for guadalcanal (I figured it was only a little early, and birdcage corsairs did fly over guadalcanal I think... or in that region)).

A request perhaps, could you add the Spitfire VIII to the RAAF campaign, I'd love to fly it over New Guinea, in lieu of a Borneo or Malaya region where it would fit in historically.

Flemsha I just got the Seafire 3 to work from a land base in New Guniea no problem. I figured out how to make any plane take off form a land base in a campaign. I just tested it.

Is it something historical? (I have no idea on this one) Should it be somethng I include in my patch?
If not, no problem. I can e-mail you the files directly . e-mail me at mk2(at)bellsouth(dot)net.

EDIT oops sorry going for the Spit VIII (addde dthe worng one DOH!) BRB
