I had a ton of fun on it too. I'm just sad nobody really uses it that often.

Yes thanks Orheim.
I usually post here that it's up before joining
myself.
I always get a good laugh there and the company is good too.

Thank you and good to hear you enjoy it. Unfortunately it can't be up 24/7 as I run the server on a computer that is currently being used by my sister-in-law (sssshh don't tell her). She lives in a small student apartment on campus and as the computer suffers from bad noises she turns it off at night to be able to sleep. It is up most days from mornings or lunchtime to 2200-2300(GMT)

Maprotation includes small dogfightmaps with only one plane available, same on blue and red side.

J8a vs J8a
I-153P vs I-153P
CR42 vs CR42
I-16(18) vs I-16(18)
Hawk 81 vs Hawk 81
A6M2-N vs A6M2-N
G50 vs G50
P11c vs P11c

Server is administrated by the excellent IL2 Server Commander by http://www.gennadich.com.

Available commands for players are:

<gunstat
<time (timeout till mission end)
<vote (vote for mapchange)

Tb3 vs Tb3 makes random guestappearances sometimes due to pressure from certain squadmembershttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Boosher, maybe people are just not into plain fun with cr@pplanes or just don't realize it yethttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Best thing about Cr@pGalore is that it teaches you all you need to know about energy fighting.

Arcade as it might seem at first sight, things become very technical when both sides have the same plane. You can't blame the other side for having an Uberplane...

I'm a pretty appalling pilot, but I still remember an amazing Brester vs Brewster fight when I happened to enjoy a decent altitude advantage. With all that energy I managed to keep myself in control of the situation with a series of moves that I later learned were the famous and elusive "High Yo-Yo". That poor guy didn't have a chance http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That day I learned that there is a lot more to doghfights that just Turn&Burn and Boom&Zoom http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It'd be a good excuse to make one of those famous screenshot/paintings of yours, wouldn't it? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I want to promote the <vote (vote for mapchange) command in the server if no admin is around. If a majority of players type <vote the next map in the rotation will start. Great way to change planesettings if you want to. Every map runs for 60 minutes.
