who uses it, and how? It has grown on me, using it in ADW, but I'm quite sure the old girl has a lot more to give that I can't see.

Been mainly using the 37mm to hit Soviet tanks.

Are there any tips out there, or books, articles, etc?

I do wish I could take the 410 for a ride http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Fly it online sometimes. Usually as a strike aircraft with bombs or occasionally the 37mm cannon. Its a survivable aircraft overall with the twin engines, rear gunner, and relatively thin profile when attacked from behind.

Not sure what tips I can offer and I too would love to fly the Me 410 but we never got to that one. Maybe sometime in the future.

online missions where Bf110s and Beaufighter/Pe-3bis are the main oponents (no other fighters), beside bombers, are big fun !

sure that works also offline..............

Try this campaign:
http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1091[ (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1091%5B)

That'll teach you how to fly the 110, and it's great fun too!

thanks for the help. Have downloaded that campaign. Having a wee bit of trouble, but I'm sure it'll smooth itself out once I get some stick time on that bird.

SoloIndyJones, ADW is an online war. The best I've found so far, as it's perpetual, so you can join whenever you feel like some flying time, and it does a good job of simulating flying conditions. Your actions feel like they really matter. Tis cool.

The downside (biggish one) is that the forums are not organised, so there are no team tactics that encompass more than those willing on chat at the time, and the majority of players are Russian, so TS is not so much of an option. THat being said, these guys are golden. Many speak English, and they will help however they can. Many are more than happy to link up with you, and I did do a few TS sessions when the servers were not so full. Sexy Russian accents! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The servers average 50-70 players per night, EU time (living in SA). Unfortunately, I can't stay up till the wee hours to hit the skies in Forgotten Skies with the yanks, so this works best for me. And there will still be a few peeps playing during the afternoon or whatnot.

The engine has been sourced out to another server though, so I'm hopeful to see it done again (perhaps in the EU) where our Russian friends can still join, but done by a team that has more time to tweak forums and engine for greater cooperation (and some English folk would help). The team responsible are tied up with Knights Of The SKy at the moment.

The players are mostly quite good to real aces. The server is full switch, and the engine promotes a "dead is dead" environment. Check it out, it's a lot of fun. I'd love to see more English speaking sqs join and link up in a team.

I use the 110 as a heavy fighter/strike aircraft myself. With the Mk-108's it's very effective on bombers and ground attack, but it's really outmatched against most single engine fighters and some of the twins, like the Lighting, will eat it for breakfast. It can turn pretty will for a twin if you use the combat flaps, but don't get sucked into a turning fight as you will more then likely lose. Given enough time, it can outrun alot of the fighters but it takes it a little while to start building speed.
