Just wanted to pop in and say Hi. I just purchased PF over D2D (yeah I know, not the best thing to do, but I wanted to give the game a shot before looking into the previous versions.) <---Which will lead to my next question. I emigrated over from SH3, and wanted a different take on a sim. I havent played flight sims in many years due to the fact that I havent purchased a joystick until recently. I used to play the likes of Janes F-15, Janes WWII Fighters (yeah i know, it was an arcade game, but one of a kind for its time) and played numerous chopper sims. So Im basically trying to de-noob myself to the flight sim genre again. And I like what I see so far. And these forums seem very mature, as most sims do, since I lurked around the Brothers In Arms forums for a while, which had the typical FPS crowd.
Now leading to my question, since I bought PF on D2D, is it possible to merge PF with FB etc? Be it a retail or D2d version of the game? I noticed that one person on the ign forums were upset because this was not possible. Just curious if anyone else has done this?
Once again, thanks, and hope to see you in the skies (online) soon.

I don't know D2D but if it is the downloadable version I have heard it can't be merged with Forgotten battles and the Aces Expansion pack..
You really would be well advised buying a CD version so you can do so - it gives you a lot more options and greatly improves the game.
Welcome, by the way http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Hello & Welome

It might intrest you that a Platinum DVD of Forgotten Battles +Ace expansion pack + Pacific fighters is to be release within the next month or so.
This would be the idea way to go.

Edit: This forum is far from mature at times http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif but I visited a monitor forum once where a massive flame war was going on just because some bloke asked the best way to clean his LCD screen. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
