Ok, just started a new patrol for grid BEXX ( I forget). I am well away from my home port SW of Ireland ( Its spelled Irland in the published map that came with the DVD by the way).
It is night outside, pitchblack. I have it on compressed time working my way to my patrol area.

All of a sudden my look out yells "Ship spotted". I go to the bridge to see a V&W Destroyer 800meter off of my starboard quarter coming right at me!
At which point I promptly soil myself...and yell DIVE! Which was a waste of soil and breath because the V&W keeps on trucking right by me. Does not even turn on a search light. It does not shoot starlight shells or even take shots at me!?!?!

What the hey?

Anyone ever expirience this. I wish I had the presence of mind to take a pic. But it happened so fast. Im pretty sure it was a DD.
As I write this it occured to me it might have been a German DD. I dont know. I just remembered I didnt even ID it the thing. Are German DD's that far out by themselves?

Excuse me while I change my skivies.
