I was working at the airport the other day and when I heard what I thought sounded like a business jet on takeoff roll I was happy to see the ME-262 going for a test flight, this time it went gear up. It flew for about 30 miutes beyond my vision but when it came back it executed a low pass down the main runway at Paine Field (Boeing's wide body home base) which was most excellent. The FAA guy in the tower was a little miffed that he did it because the test pilot only declared that he was going to do a landing on the radio. On his next approach the tower asked "are you really going to set it down this time?"

Congrats to the ME 262 team again.

No offense, but the two seater 262 is ugly!
It's neat to have them flying again though.

You say the 262's ugly, look at that Fouga Magister ( i think that's what they are...)
That beast is ugly

Nice news, and yes congratulations to the team. Me-262 flying again, Fw-190 flying again... let's get more of these rare birds to live once more and take to the skies. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I would, but my neighbour borrowed the motor to drive his lawn-mower. Problem was, it barely had enough umph to cut the grass.
