About 4 months ago someone posted a link to a BBC radio station that played only world war 2 music. I cant find the link anymore and would gladly appreciate if any of you could help me out here .. I kinda liked that music...
cheers...

I can help, I think- I've found Radio Dismuke to be full of 1930-1940 original tunes - many by English Dance bands of the period.I've found it on my Computer at Live 365 under the Swing genre catagory.By the way there are other stations as well with period music...this one features more British bands....

Cool, James, another Live 365 listener. There are also some other interesting WWII stations there.

I started that thread, someone else posted the BBC site in the thread. Unfortunately I'm away from home for a while and my home computer is where link is bookmarked... so I can't give it to you any time soon. Perhaps if you search on my name you will spot the post?

Man get Sirius Sat radio (can also be streamed from a PC) and head over to 'Swing Street'. They play every possible song from the Hit Parade from 1939-1946. You name, I've heard it. The nice thing, the PC streaming is CD quality, not your typical 'free' radio stuff you get over the web.
