It sure isn't a place any Oleg would want to hang out.

Then create a board with password is like a private nightclub with VIP room with bouncers guard the pathway which only allow members with passowrds; whom Oleg feel welcome them, may visit in to have good time exchange messages there.

Probably not a bad idea with some refinements..

Let the board members select (by vote) certain members that would have access to a private forum. The private forum would be attended by the selected members and the developers. This way sensible dialogue could prevail.

Oleg, might even allow persons he felt could be valuable contributors outside of the selection process.

The important thing it would be a valuable tool for development of the sim.

As it is now, who has time to read all the postings on these boards trying to make sense out of the nonsense.

Those slected members on a private forum would be able to communicate better more effectively.

Whiners and complainers wouldn't be there. LOL

Adding another layer is the wrong thing to do. It just creates more hassle for the board admins, as well as those who want to contribute. Instead of this, why can't we all just exercise a bit of self-control?

Sure there are worthy questions and concerns, and I'm sure Oleg really wants to hear them. But some folks just do'nt know when to quit. And I'm not juat referring to the whiners here; there are also a good portion of people who post only jokes. You know, highly exaggerated bugs or stuff pulled right from their smelly bums. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Not that I'm humourless, mind you...but the jokers can drown out the worthy messages just as surely as the whiners do.

I thought the selected ones were called Moderators,if each off topic thread or posting was deleted it would help.I know it must be difficult to keep track if the Mods are volunteers ,good luck to them
