Hi all

Just bought PF and boy does this rock.No probs at all, playin this in 1024x768 2x anti alaising
and all settings maxed out ,landscape perfect water quality unreal, although my card only supports pixel shader 1 and 2.(nvidia 5950 ultra gt 2004(520mhz)256 meg ram)

After splashing out nearly 1000 pounds on my 64 bit system at last a game with some nice visuals.

I can even play these settings online without frame rate loss, lmao 64 bit is the future.

Just patched the game and i like those search lights from the enemy airfields nice touch!

Ive played flight sims since i was eleven(any 1 remember tomahawk for the spectrum with that stupid lenslock protection system (UK)?and PF is 1 of the best.

Lock on is cool 2 although i find it pretty hard on multiplayer with hard radar and so on.

God im such a noob,i just found out amd has released a processor driver for the 64 bit and ive just gained about another 15 FPS,what a idiot.

The only thing i cant do say in a b25 is access the bombsight station, what altitude is best for level bombing and what speed?

Another thing ALL u tom cruise wanna bees give us beginners a chance, online let us get air bourne and find some altitude before u rape us before i even start the engines...really this is anoying and very of putting,it reminds me of vulchers just fly round and round until some 1 has just spawned, then ppl dive in for the kill ..not very fair

Is there any UK squads out there could give me a few hints and pointers on how to rule the skies i would be gratefull..

UBI SOFT god ****,make a helecopter gunship sim
say with drivable tanks as well and your onto a winnerhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

please if u see me on a server go easy,LMAO

tally ho all

Well welcome to the sim http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ubi Soft didn't make this though - it only distributes it.

1C:Maddox made the sims http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

You'll find a lot of guides/info at Airwarfare (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#018)

And do get FB Goldpack (thats Forgotten Battles + Ace's Expansion Pack) You can "Merge" PF with it (it then becomes a second game). You'll get a LOT of extra planes and a LOT of extra maps/objects http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It doesn't really say it magically increases performance?

quote:
AMD Athlonâ"ž˘ 64 Processor Driver for Windows XP allows the system to automatically adjust the CPU speed, voltage and power combination that match the instantaneous user performance need.

Anyone care to explain?
