I don't know why when things are "upgraded" they often go backward in at least a few respects.

The forum software before had a little blinking icon to tell you that you have a private message waiting.

Anyway, I wonder if this software simply does not support it, or what, but anyway, if it can, it should have it.

BTW, Leep, check your pm's...

I couldn't agree with you more Demon- I wonder if anyone-after this decision was made- then sat around and said- "Oh this is better"
Some people's kids.
Leep Out:

While I know there are no notifications here on the site, I have received an Email for every one that I have had.

It would be nice to let yo know here, but as I check my email every day I am still alerted to them.

Yes please, it's a pain in the butt to try to communicate with anyone privately in these forums.

I know how to turn on email notification too, but I don't like receiving a lot of emails, I'd rather just learn of my pm's when I come to the site.

Heh,

Kimi I think we all want some sort of flag or indicator that you have PM on the forum. Email notification is a total waste of time.

That's exactly what I was agreeing about. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

"Trogdor!!1 It burninates!!!" OMG, why do I have that stuck in my head. I have no idea where that comes from. Someone put me out of my misery!

I thought I was agreeing with you. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Hehe, I know what you mean about getting stuff stuck in your head, I've had a song stuck in my head for two days about a wagon full of pancakes that came from the same website.

Trogdor "The Burninator" is a character on www.homestarrunner.com (http://www.homestarrunner.com). One of the characters on the website responds to people's email, someone asked him to draw a dragon and Trogdor was the result. He's appears in the cartoons there occasionally and even has a couple of games, "Trogdor" and "Peasant's Quest." BTW "Burninate" is supposed to be a combination of "Burn" and "Terminate." I've run into a few people who thought it was supposed to be what happens when you find out you have an STD. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
