Hello,

Have you ever seen an airfield with no windsock? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Anyone got any idea why the wind, such a crucial part of flying environment, is not represented in FB?

Cheers,

Have you noticed, tho, that if you're damaged and there's holes in the canopy, you can hear the wind whistling thru? That's an effect you just gotta love!

FB dose model wind, weather, and turbulence, although in a very basic way. If your interested in a realistic atmospheric model, then try X-plane.

Better weather effects, including wind conditions, are promised for BoB. Hopefully a windsock will be in there too.
Cheers!
