I've downloaded a couple of ntrk files and unzipped them into the "records" folder as instructed at http://www.pacific-fighters.com/en/tracks.php but the page doesn't say what to do next.
Of course I started the game and pressed the "play track" button tried the "training" button but didn't see the file name I had saved. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

help appriciated,
Pierre

go to play track off the menu, highlight one you downloaded and play it

thks for the lightning fast response, but I did press the "play track" of the main menu but that file is not there. also I counted 41 tracks in the choices, 3 or 4 are my own but the rest I don't know where they came from and there's no where near that many ntrk files in the records folder.

Any more suggestions?

Maybe it helps to rename the *.ntrk files.

Avoid "Umlaute" (¤, ü, ¨, ¶, etc.) and spaces.

It's worth a try...

Check if you did put them in the correct folder there. Once they are in the records folder, they should show up in that list. Try renaming them to 1, 2, 3, ...etc http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Makes it easy to find them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Found the problem, tks for all your suggestions. Turns out I had installed this game a year ago on my C drive but gave up on the game because I couldn't figure out how to start the engine. Since I had another sim I liked a lot I didn't pursue IL2.
Recently I re-installed the game on another partition, forgeting that I had already installed it. So I had 2 sets of folders. Of course the one on the C drive was the good one.
Tks again.
