I got an Enermax Noisetaker II. Brand new. Before my PC wouldn't even power up for more than a second. Now it powers up, but it won't boot. It brings up the BIOS loading screen, and then is just blank.

MoBo is a MSI NEO2. The first time I booted up it said my CMOS settings were wrong and it asked me if I wanted to load the defaults. So I pressed F2 for "yes." I've tried booting with the CMOS jumper in both positions. No luck.

Help?

Thanks!

Try to find the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard and put in the other position for 10 seconds or so, if you dont find it try to remove the battery for 10 seconds, preferably use the jumper.
In most cases the claer CMOS jumper is located near the battery.

Hope it works, Good luck.

Could be something more than a PSU...but let's hope not.

if you tried booting pc with jumper in position which erases BIOS you may have killed the motherboard....

Bummer http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif...........if she no longer powers up and you want to check the mb, pull, and un-plug everything cpu, memory, drives etc.

pull the board out, place on cardboard box

plug the case on/off switch in to the mb

plug in the 1x20 power pin, and the 1x4 power

see if she powers up, if so (the board is most likely still good)......don't forget to control the static

Have you considered asking the guy/store you bought it from for assistance?
