We are testing two of them and curious to see opinions of anyone using one now. We have the Force and Wireless versions.

I have the force feedback. I like it but it seems to lose calibration mid flight and ill have to do a full circle while flying to recalibrate. Other then that I like it but recalibrating every 5 minutes is no bueno.

im using the x45 throttle with the evo stick. i like the evo better then the x45stick and have had no problems since ive had it..except for having to run the evo in a full circle each time i start a game.

I've used a friends Saitek Cyborg Evo from time to time and it seems a great stick for the money.

My only issues would be the way it needs to calibrate itself each time you use it from a boot up (I don't know if thats a general thing or his set-up) and I find the spring force to be almost non-existant compared to the stick I use.

Not a clue as to how durable they are.

Like SgtBriggs decribed..... maybe thats not really calibrating as such?

Like mine very much. Standard non force feed versions. Very smooth and reliable. Have to calibrate every boot up as well but learned to live with it. Any fix for this that anybody is aware of?

My old logitech wingman never worked right. Just a bag of sh*t. I thought I was a suck *** pilot but the problem was the stick.

By the way, I have to admit, I am still pretty much a suck *** pilot.

Had mine for a good three months now, like it lots. I don't need to calibrate mine though, it works everytime with the settings I have set it to. Great Stick!

What is the problem priot to calibration? Is it a drift to one side or the other?

If so, it is a known issue and Saitek / Microsoft has a fix for it.

With the stick plugged in and powered on, go to www.windowsupdate.com (http://www.windowsupdate.com) and an update for it should appear in the drivers area.

You can also see the Saitek website www.saitekusa.com (http://www.saitekusa.com) for more info.
