Wonderful (huge) story about him in the National Post today.

What a hero.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Neville Duke. He was certainly one of my hero's when I was younger.
I have an original copy of a book he wrote in 1954 called 'Neville Duke's Book of Flying' given to me by my father.
For young aviation enthusiast's, this book was a bible. I still read it from time to time today as it is full of wonderful flying wisdom and experience.
One of the chapters of his book takes you 'step by step' through - how to fly a Vampire jet, it is still an amazing piece of historical aviation literature.
He truely was a great WWII fighter pilot, post war Test pilot and 'ultra aviation enthusiast' and will be very sadly missed.
