part of the gun site I'm pointing to is useful? If so how?
I'm thinking deflection shots?? But it seems its only good on one side.
any light on this would really be nice
Thanks Rave

thats a back up sight. if the electrical part, mostly the light bulb, failed.

its not planned that you can aim trough this in game.
and if the Revi is shot up in game, also this back up thing is shot up http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I reckon it's a rudimentary ring and post sight. It's a back up, in case the light bulb in your reflector sight fails.

It's utterly useless in game.

On the japanese planes the equivalent ring slides down to allow you to manually aim using thses iron sights....NB only after being hit by enemy fire.

When the TrackIR 6DOF becomes available in SOW:BOB things like that will be useful when the regular gunsight goes down. Boy, I can't wait for that!!!

very cool about the full range for track IR in BOB.

There is a sim called "aces high" that I also fly, and the track IR has all the axis available in that sim.
It is very cool to lean over the canopy and look behind to check your six with out loosing any "E"
or look around and down the wind screen. or lean forward or back.... and in a roll wow ya never lose sight of a guy. cant wait till we get it in BOB also
