Oh God.... so expensive...so dramatically cool....
However flying with those things should be quite a different experience, right?
...but i wonder what my GF would say about having the badroom occupied by that non-virtual cockpit...:-)

expensive? a little maybe and there will always be those whose reaction to anything over 50 quid is 'how flipping much!' all i can say is
http://www.simcontrol.co.uk/SPITFIRE%20price%20option1.htm
it's one of the few other options available

flying experience is definitely different to a sprung stick, took me a couple of weeks to really get settled in with it but the precision is amazing- riding blackout is fun http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
the immersion boost is immediate
for me it's worth the money

i wonder what Freud (or GF!) would have said about 'badroom' http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I just received a 60 refund from the ECB after the cricket was rained off last month. I've told my wife it'll go on a TrackIR 4 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

I built myself a throttle some time ago, but having seen the Tarmac Aces one I'm going to have to modify it.

To answer to the request of many simmers , the Tarmac Aces team conceived and carried out a grip dedicated to acrobatic flight and gliders.
Go and have a look in the "hangar stock" of our webpage !

Many thanks to simmers who helped us , we will be able to carry out soon these projects :

-middle of august 2008 : Parallelogram rudder pedals assembly including nterchangeable pedals
(Luftwaffe, RAF, contemporary Jets...).

-middle of septembre 2008 : shifted universal base and Spade Grip (Spitfire).

-middle of septembre 2008 : yoke for civilian or military multi engines.

-decembre 2008 : gas throttle for contemporary Jets (single engine and twin engine).

Good flight !
