So what the hack is this all about?

hehe looking good mate! Good idea too, I'll have to pass this idea on to our squad mission builder, MadAdler...Could be useful for a few missions.

As ever, your timing is impeccable. I was just thinking how handy it'd be to have a Do17 for my France campaign. Consider it nabbed!
Many thanks, BB.

Man that is incredible. He always thinks of stuff like this.

I think the 25lb Spit would make a great hack of a post war Seafire 45 (cough-ahem).

Thanks guys.
Helgstrand, let me know if you guys need one without the white flash on the right wing and/or tail.
Enforcer, it's on my palette. I'll be working on it this week/weekend.

Beebop - you couldn't do a version with a few horizontal white bars on the right wing, could you? I don't know if it's accurate for the Dornier but I've seen it on BOB-era Heinkels and I thought it might look even less Pe2ish. I can't think of anything else that would add to the effect though. I had blast flying against it last night in a low-level mission I'm working on. Unfortunately I overwrote all the images.

I think he's got more of these hack thingies out there than anyone. The Pe-2 would probably stand in nicely for any number of Japanese twins, as would the Tu-2. As he said, his "palette" is kinda full. BTW, what the blue blazes is a "palette"?

Is it anything like that fancy eatin table the Clampets had with all them holes in the corners?

Already made one of those Mate, though I used a Seafire for the job.

And I've been using it as a guide to the XV lb Spit I'm working on for Enforcer. It's a great skin.

Enforcer, a pallete is like an escargot. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I owned an 'S' car once. It had a one cylinder engine and would top out at 25 MPH.
When I drove it by my girlfriends house she would say to her friends, "Look at that S car go!"

Sure mate. Glad to. Give me a couple of days to research it (if you have any pictures or links to same send them along) and I'll put it together for you over the weekend.

FSM, is this what you mean?

Sorry I didn't reply Beebop. Yeah, those pics were exactly what I was thinking but applied to your Dornier skin. I have also seen markings like that on an Ju88 so I guess it might not look out of place. If you don't have time for it no worries.
Much appreciated anyway, sir.

I'll do it over the weekend. It's not a problem at all.
Look to your e-mail Sunday evening for the skin. Any special requests? Marks/no marks, certain codes? Just let me know.

A blank and a marked version would be good, thanks. I liked the codes on your original one but if you put the bars on the wing then I doubt the letters would fit. I'd opt for the bars as I already have the lettering on your other skins. Could you try one without the horizontal stripe on the tailfin? Either blank or with the three stripes arranged vertically would be good, although I think the tailfin might be too crowded with the stripes on it.

Sorry about the "jaggys". I forgot to set up for screenshots. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

By blank, you mean without codes or just the hash marks or both? Let me know I can probably have them to you this evening.

(Once done I will upload them to Mission 4 Today as well)

That looks great! Both would be ideal if you can swing it. Thanks a lot, Beebop.
