Something is wrong. I'm quite frustrated. I love to play VOW and I was doing quite nicely. Now i was away for 2 weeks, i came back a week ago and since then I'm shot down each time I fly. I don't have the feeling I got so much worse in 2 weeks but there is always this one deadly mistake. Whether I make some unnecessary turn or I engage when not really in the best position. and now it is getting worse and worse, you want to prove to yourself that you can do it and the things you do are even more stupid. anyone else experienced something like that?

I hear that when you start having a harder time, you are about to advance to the next level of skill.

The F4U Corsair won the war!!!

Hmm, Gershy. Very interesting. I`ve had this experience. It`s like a sort of momentery blip or dip where you feel you`re back to noob status. But things do recover.

It sounds dumb. But he may be right....

I was away 2 days and after 2 missions stopped playing cuz it wasn`t fun.I think there is something on being keen on returning to combat.

I get that feeling every time I step into the virtual pit /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

But when you leave a game for a while you're skills do get very rusty.

Gershy ,
You were improving and doing well . Now you're in a slump , a low . It's okay . You can't just keep progressing indefinately . You are about to transcend to the next level of skill and tactics , hang in there . Everyone reaches a plateau and from their perspective it seems like they aren't getting any better , if anything they think they are getting worse . Keep at it !
