Here we have a pic whit jade and the modern background, I have science at my school and there are alot of faults in this background

1: H can only make 1 covalent bond whit an other atom
2: O can only make 3 covalent bond whit an other atom

and some more stuff tell me if im rong but i just wanted to share this http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Dont know what covalent bond is check wiki http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

sorry for my bad english http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

actually oxygen can only form 2 covalent bonds normally, but study A-level chemistry and you'll quickly learn that it doesnt hold true in all cases http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif but yeah, that diagram is completely wrong.

sorry for my bad english http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I'm not going to counter anything you just said...but I'm going to ask just what else you do with your spare time if you decide to do this with it? I mean, don't get me wrong, science is interesting (although I prefer physics, myself), but the background image looks cool, and I think it fulfills its purpose doing just that. Whther it could ever be a compound...well, it clearly wasn't taken into account by the guys who made it, who must have done very little chemistry beyond compulsory.

Well...whatever.

I discussed this with few fellow members here in another thread, but sadly I don't remember which one.

From a professional point of view, a chemist or a physicist has not seen or approved any of the design that went into the background shot. I can guarantee you that whoever put that together was either a designer or an editor of some sort with little background in sciences... His or her job was to simply made the background look cool.

They succeeded. They should have known, however, that the film was going to be picked apart frame by frame to find inconsistancies or secrets about the game.

It's not meant to be real. It's meant to be cool. Tv and films do it all the time.

You know what other element is real? Carbonite (the stuff that Han Solo was frozen in). It's all just made to look / sound cool.

Your probably right.

Maybe they aren't elements at all, but is actually something completely different but happen to have the same abbreviations. I highly doubt it, but it's always possible. I don't think we should expect this game to be accurate in everything it does, I mean we've seen grammar errors, translational errors, and historical errors. We all need to chill and let Ubi do what they do best. Make excellent games.

Thanks.
