US heavy bombers require an incendiary loadout. Even if proper bombs are too much trouble, give them a larger load of the same type used on the Betty.

The US had various incendiaries bombs, some shared with the RAF. The 4lb stick bomb was used by both the RAF, and USAAF in the ETO. The RAF usually used a heavier load of incendiaries to HE compared to the US (we usually had some in the mix, however).

Also, US bomb loads were just as likely to be mixed as other planes in game, not all the same bomb as is in now.

Military targets as well. Area bombing was effective in doing that. It was also brutally effective at killing people in Japan, and less so (by about an order of magnitude) in Germany.

Regardless, even daylight attacks at strategic targets were usually bombed by bombers armed with mixed loads of HE and incendiaries as SOP (more HE for the US, more incendiaries for the RAF)

Yes, they are very much missed.
For the sake of realism and history.

Please, include incendriary bombs for the Luftwaffe, USAF and RAF.

Thank You

First fix loadouts. B-25 and A-20 are missing 2000lb each http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

The SBD needs 100s on the wings. Just replace the 500s with 100s since it was impossible for a SBD to carry 500s on the wings.

well there also needs to br fragmentation bombs (cluster bombs) on the P-47D-27.

I'm all for fixing the bomb load outs...
but 1st we really need more bombers and that ain't gonna happen i'm afraid. Even more so for the USAAF side. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

thats probably not *every* type of bomb it took either.

near double the bombload of a b17/b24 to the same target. also to targets the 8af wouldnt goto until late war...
