Please can anyone tell me what has happened to the Sturmovik Technika web site, and all the articles there ? I was very interested in the article relating to the P 16 undercarriage retraction, and also the Il 2 cockpit guide mentioned by Martinsky, on the Ham.dogfighter.com/sturmovik web site (is this site too now missing?)

ham.dogfighter.com, different I believe from dogfighter.net, shut down a while back. Technika was moved to http://www.il2center.com/technika/ but has recently been permanently shut down by its author, to the great loss of the IL-2 community.

Thanks for the replies! Do you now know where I might find the information requested in my initial message? Is Martinsky still contactable?

Thanks for the replies! Does anyone now know where the information requested in my earlier mail might now be found, or indeed, where Martinsky has gone?

As far as I know it's copyrighted material. I have a copy of the IL-2 manual but I have to respect the authors and won't send it without their permission. The translator of the IL-2 manual was Martinsky, and if someone can track him down and get his permission maybe he will make it available. I don't even have a copy of the I-16 gear article.

Sorry,
Mike
