I post this in case you don't see the thread where you posted a portion of the Thunderbolt II/Tempest II documents.

What can you tell me about the P-47 used in the test? It's listed as a Thunderbolt II. I thought the T-bolt II in the RAF was a bubble-top variant (admittedly I don't know). If so, it has no water injection? All bubble tops were serially produced with water injection. Frankly, the 58" mercury looks like a R-2800-21 engine.

Can you tell me anything about the T-bolt in the test?
