This was inspired by a thread me and my dad looked at together after watching over 50! IL2 movies over the past two weeks. Glad school is out http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Mr. Wiley said "but as others have said, there is lots of variety and many good ones which excel in different ways/themes/techniques".

So, me and my dad were totally trying hard to pick a best of all time list. We decided to make several best of lists broken down by genre to be fair to the large number of talented directors. Here are the 12 categories and the movies.

1.Best Tribute/Documentary over 6 minutes(Has to be about a "real" person or people).
2.Best Tribute/Documentary under 6 minutes(Has to be about a "real" person or people).
3.Best Drama over 6 minutes(Includes "fictional" characters).
4.Best Drama under 6 minutes(Includes "fictional" characters).
5.Best Musical Score Under 6 Minutes.
6.Best Musical Score over 6 Minutes.
7.Best Aerobatics( 2 man & Solo)
8.Best Aerobatics(Team 3 or more)
9.Best Squad Recuritment movie
10.Best Comedy, Non Drama or just for fun
11.Best Short(Under 3 minutes)
12.Best Artistic(No Combat)

My dad got Mr. UCLANUPE to give me some web space at his Movie site. So, I put the movies in their proper categories. There are more than 40 movies on the list. Please take a look at the list and if I missed one please tell me. This list is put together so all of the people can see what movies are available to view. Let's have some fun guys!

Hello Hauptman99!!

Really good job! I wanted to do something similar and try to archive it or put it on the web so everyone can enjoy these great efforts in IL2 movies.

Good to know that Father & Son hobbies still exist, my Salute to your father for helping you out.

Hope to add more of my movies to your list. Keep up the great work!

Oh thank you Mr, NTESLA. I really liked your movies. The Forgotten Heroes one really makes me think about my role as an American citizen and our freedom. People really like totally died so I could be free, wow that is just totally awesome!

Yeah my dad is really a cool guy and we do alot of stuff together.

I'll keep adding to the list as new movies are made. Thanks again! S~

Yes sir Mr. PDog1 we saw Black May and liked it so much that it is our number 1 choice as Best Short under 3 minutes. Now we know it is 3:18, but it really deserved a top spot. So we made a category, Best Short and you won!

You are really good with those water movies like Atlantic that is a really cool movie. The atmosphere is totally scary and cool! Thanks for checking my list. Goodnight sir.

Thanx Hauptman and UCLANUPE

But it would be great to have each movie title linked to its location for a download...is there a way to do this because i think that i have most of them in my HD but others probably don't.

Good flight to you !

Nonsense, I verified the joints twice!: This was the answer given by chief Mechanic Klaus Stoeffel to Oberst Lotar Von MĂĽllenbrock when he complained about some strange vibrations in the wings of his Me-262 during take off. This picture show that Oberst Von MĂĽllenbrock's fears were in fact quite real.

Well the real problem with that is bandwidth. The average D/L bandwidth wise for each of the four movies we've made is 30-50 gigs. We did work out a deal with France Simulations regarding providing movies via CD. I expect to make an importanat announcement regarding this issue in the next few days. Please bear with me just a little while longer and you'll get what you want, no problem. Thanks for the interest.

Oh thanks guys, but my dad told me that I left off Mr. Wiley's movie. That was my fault, but we are going to fix that soon. We hope to keep up with the new movies as they come out. I really can't stay on long tonight so I will see you later.

Yep, got your dad's e-mail and fixed it per your request. See ya later.

"Scramble" by the Acme Corporation/Oberst Wiley is now on the list. Excellent aged film techniques by Wiley highlight this new movie. The score was really nice too, but I don't know who it was, although it seemed familiar. It's the June feature on Wiley's site so check it out!
