You all remember that old Spitfairies thread Wayne posted? Well, it seems the artist who made all those works has passed away, actually sometime in late July apparently.
Came as a bit of a shocker, as I hopped onto those forums to see if any new works had been put up when I noticed everyone was paying their respects to the artist.
Going back a couple pages turned up this link:

Sad news... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif In case any of you didn't get see his stuff:

they had a sort-of-competition running on there as well, folk contributing art in the style of glen angus - some very good work and a fitting tribute.

Sad that, it wasn't time either.

Oleg posted on that site, looking for artists to contribute to the 'look' of BoB. Interesting to think that perhaps we'll be appreciating at a little of Glen Angus's work for quite a while yet.

Shows how talented he was, eh? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Looks like he was just starting on a new series of art as well when he died.
