...how about the Mustang I, IA or P-51A model next? We need an Allison powered Mustang and since you've already done the other major fighters with Allison engines, I was just thinking...

I saw some good progress on the P-51A not to long ago. I dont know if it was dropped or not. I may consider it! It would be nice to have a P-51 with 4 20MM and dive flaps http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Suggestion noted.

I would "B" down with that! I mean we have every exotic once in a blue moon Lw AC ever dreamed of.. why not the P47M at least it saw combat! And what with all the PACIFIC stuff a P47N would be nice too! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif But Gibbage should not be on the line for all this... Since the p-51A is being considerd...What about the Appachee Dive bomber variant. Kill 2 brids with 1 stone so to speak. I think it would be just a slight change to the p-51A. I think the only divferance would be the addtion of Dive Flaps. I have the External drawings for the Appache Varriant if anyone needs them.

Yea, it is A-36 Apache which is a derivative of the P-51A Mustang or Mustang I as it was known in RAF service.

I agree with SkyChimp. The A model would add a new level of low alt. goodness to the sim. I believe that the A models were a little faster down low than the B-C-D models were.

Yummy.

I'd like to see the P-47M. It's a relatively easy modding job (take the D-27) IMHO. There's a very big *wewannahavethep47m* thread in ORR. Much stuff in there. We just need someone to model it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif .
I just saw that twin Mustang in here... another c00l thing. Dunno if it's outta the time range, but if not, do it. We're also getting a 109Z, so why not? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif .

Yeah! That Mustang IA would be really nice. Perfectly suited to low and mid-altitude hunting. Fast, smooth and those 4 20mm cannon....very nice. Sort of like having the hitting power of the Hurri IIc with some speed. It'd be a killer.

Of course, I fly LW most of the time so I'd hate to see that coming at me. But, who knows, I might let it change my mind.
