I understand there is a Burma map underway.

If so, I think it would well advised to consider adding the KI-27 for the Japanese Army. I see no need to go into detail but for the in 1941-42 this was the most numerous fighter in the region until surpased by the Ki-42. I believe someone had done a Ki-27 model independantly for submission/consideration.

Likewise, there is a need for at least 1 Japanese Army bomber. I do not recall if someone had been doing a Ki-21?

In any event, I hope you consider at least the Ki27. There is not much point in having a map if you do dot have the aircraft to fly or AI.

Thanks.

this Burma map will be around Imphal , not Rangoon.

so more of a "need" would be a Ki-43-II flyable. perhaps we will get one , at least the team that made the cockpits of the comming italianj fighters made them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif depends on the maddox team if they use them.

most propably a KI21 as AI-bomber will be also released, there were ealry WIP shoots of it around. it would realy be needed.

a Ki-27 will so far as i know be released an a adon to pay - perhaps most propably to be used in Mandchuria, Nomonhan http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Rangoon would be nice, but any Burma map would be better than using Lvov http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The Ki-27 woudl be a wonderful asset for missions taken place during the Sino-Japanese War, against Gladiators.

Where did you get information that it is beeing made for add on and if so, is it AI only?

There actually might be....we've seen some shots smuggled from the Russian forums of a unnamed Japanese fighter cockpit that is not the Ki-43-II and not the J2M3 or N1K-2J either.

We'll see what comes. Some of it may never make it.

Anyways the Ki-43-II as a flyable will be good to have for Burma as its the primary fighter in that area. Dozens of Ki-43-II's were fighting Spitfire VIII's from the RAF in Burma. In this sort of situation, the Spitfires had to fly boom and zoom and ignore their turn ability because the Ki-43 was FAR superior.

Flying that map offline will be fun, AI will just try to turn and burn their spits against the Hayabusha, easy kills considering the damage resistancy of the merlin's in PF, dont know if that accurate or not just talking about in game.

Well I guess with Manchuria, if there is a map to be done, that would imply that we can expect that DGEN will now take dates prior to 1941??

What would be nice is if they could release a couple of generic terrain maps that could be used in the full mission builder which a user could simply insert custom town/location names. A basic grid point set up could be pre-programed for front lines also. This would allow cusom DGEN campaigns to be user designed for just about anylocation in the world with perhaps some tweaking of the DGEN program as necessary. Just a thought.

IN any event the 27 and the 21 would be nice and needed additions.
