Hey!!! I might be about to get high speed connection at home soon, so i'm thinking i'll be able to play online, soon... cuz actually, I guess a 56k modem didn't allow this... or will slow down all the game...
I just wonder, as i'm not used to fly online, how is it possible to fly in formation???
I can hardly keep a formation with IA, in offline campaigns, while the y flight quiet straied, and ceonstant speed... so a human formation looks impossible for me...
(and borring too... don't wanna spend 20 min of flight for this...)
I read about the GG discussion, and about newbies, with killsteal, and friendly fire...
I think i'm not that kind...
wanna ask too, what's the way to connect the server??? got to do this since the game interface, or go on the website, and load game after..??
thanx!

No, formations arent that hard online. The leader navigates and the others keep lookout for enemies. That beeing said, its hard to fly in 'perfect' looking formations. If you fly too tight formation the wingmen must concentrate to watch the leader. That makes them sitting ducks waiting for a bounce to happen. Just last week i bounced two 109s in a tight formation (me in a Spitfire). Got them both, and i saw they were squadmates (and propably on teamspeak too).

Some servers (like Greatergreen) have a teamspeak server so you can talk to your teammates.

To look for servers and go online i use ASE (All Seeing Eye) (http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/doc.html). Dont worry about registering (unless you want the extra features), ive been using the trial version for years.

Others use Hyperlobby (http://hyperfighter.sk/)

Good advice Olli.

The greatergreen TeamSpeak info is as follows:

server IP: hostess.darktech.org (yes type the words in the TS IP window)
TeamSpeak server password: servus

There are channels for both red and blue teams. Not nearly enough people use it.
