This message is from Graham's brother, but it conveys Graham's ideas....
Graham compares IL2 (online) with Fighter Ace (online) and says that IL2 is way better as a sim, BUT is ruined by the lack of moderation in online play.
If just one (expletive deleted) gets in the room it ruins play for everyone. But, says Graham, as the online play is free there is no moderation.

Well, there y'go. Me, I'm not involved in all this warfare, I'm just one of those tree-hugging commies you read about in the National Enquirer.

Love and peace

Where do you play Graham?, If you play on the UBI Server then you can turn off the chat from anyone being rude in the chat window by clicking on their names in the player list and clicking ignore posts from the person./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

But i must admit this isn't possible in games but most posts in the games are at worst very minor oaths as most people are too busy to swear...

I have always found that you do get the odd one person but the site then seems to self regulate itself and people ask him to shut up, then if he does not desist everyone just blocks him or her, so they are in effect on their own, also people just kick them from their games if they are known to abuse people out for fun....

I hope that helps you, incidentally if you read the Eula when you loaded the game, i believe it gives an age limit of at least 14, although you do get people a lot younger online, there the ones shooting you down /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif .

I can't speak for Hyperlobby as i do not play there, but i hope the fact that you can block unwanted posts on UBI's Server helps you out and allows you to enjoy this game as it should be, without Grief /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif which is what we all want /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Well, you're polite, forthright and honest- there's no way you'd ever get elected, so it's understandable. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
