Guess the Captain can't get any sleep.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

In the type 7s and 9s there is a captains bunk. One can listen to the gramaphone and the time compression as 32x... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

However, in the "Kanoes" you can see it but you can't get any shuteye.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

It would be nice if this feature was in the IIs.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

being a kaleun is not a pleasure cruise http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
yes, you have to sleep in the same quarters as the men, but at least you get to know the men on a personal level and every one of them has a different tale to tell, thus making your voyages less boring.

Anyway, with a II trips are really short... sometimes had been unable to shoot all 5 torps, even runing at the most economic speed.

In my VIIC I keep all the sailor in the forward compartment and my officers in the aft compartment.

I just finished a training patrol in the Baltic with a type IIa. I used the mission editor and had a couple of target merchantmen out there and a random airgroup spawning with a bunch of Swede patrol boats....never ran into them, but I did see a Polish merchantman, which I missed with a spread of two torpedoes.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gifit seems the only way I can hit is if I use the UZO or perisicopes on bearing only. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

The patrol took 2 and half days. Had it worked out that I had to reach a certain patrol area, triggers, messages ect. Mission editor works well! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Its interesting that I did not put the Polish Merchantman in my mission, so its cool that there are some surprises...even in a homemade mission. Also got a Radio message from BdU, telling me to RTB....

Awesome sim!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
