Hi Gentlemen,

I have put some of my photos (Krakow Aviation Museum) in the German forum:

Maybe it's interesting for your next trip to Poland http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The museum is old, but they build a new one at the moment.

Very nice shots. Didn't know any of those survived. Didn't know any Yak-23s were around either. Very rare. Thanx.

the second from the bottom, is that an IL10?
what very last one, MiG something?

very nice pictures. seams like that there's spitfires everywhere.

It looks like a MiG-29, although the way the cockpit looks from that angle threw me off at first.

Very nice pics, Schaefer! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

The MiG-29 is a UB version (trainer), hence the slightly different shape of the canopy (second cockpit is located in front of the "normal" one).
That P-11c is the only example known to exist at the moment. Its Bristol Mercury engine is still in running condition, but for obvious reasons, they don't fly the bird anymore.

Cheers - Art

That explains why it looked so odd at first. The stabilizers and intakes were in the right place, the cockpit just looked too... low? for the MiG-29.

Looks like a licensed IL-10, Avia B 33 made in Czechoslovakia. They did sell a lot of them to comradissh countries http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
