For those who want to know how - your comrades will study this clip for decades to come http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

No frills, external padlock view on full real server. Some tight stuff and low and slow - do you have full control ??? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
The first ME109 has a great stall recovery..

46' looks like this?! Damn, I need to upgrade.
The music is cool and makes it seem like not air combat at all. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I am not sure about the intentions of that first ME109... Both his stall and stall recovery almost seemed planned to the second, to make you underestmate and overshoot...

Great little movie m8 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Most used tactics seen in action...
5 thumbs up http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This has been a 109 online tactic since 2001!

I think he was more desperate than timing his recovery - I'd just misjudged it. Either way it looked great for an inverted spin recovery.

Another addition to your 'youngish' post.
Although is might look amatuerish in the clip, there are here pilots with many hours, real or/and
virtual hours. More so our Russian guests, who we share a 50/50 ratio.

This clip I had the upper hand, but with most, it is 50/50, and when you finally learn to fly Full Real
you'll also appreciate this ratio.

Nice fight, but htats precisely why I never take the CLipped Spitfire, if it comes down to a fight like that in a Spit vs 109 battle you can usually outturn him in a full winged Spitfire. but not in a Clipped.

Each to their own however.

was that second 109 like really lagged?? he seemed to miss a whole lotta shots a 109 would generally make. Like he would shoot a second too late every time.
Good long fight though, you were probably spent http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I would need a beer after that too!

Heh was the server pretty empty? im a 190 pilot, so i kept expecting someone to zoom in outa no where, and knock either of you outa the sky after all that hard work http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif its usually what happens http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Two helium-filled airplaynes.

That looked stupid.

The Me109 was on a 400ms lag, so I had to fly about 1/2 sec behind myself when he was behind me and on my time when he was in front. He did get a few glancing shots but no damage. This was an overseas guys - RUSxxx, can't remember the name. They're excellent VPilots.

The sky was fairly busy above so if anyone followed they'd be bounced - the main reason why I took it to low level, so it'll me just Him-and-Me and I could work my magic http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Cool clip, although I object slightly to the use of the term full real.

If it was really full real one would probably be covered in vomit and/or have internal bleeding after 4+ minutes of turns at 4G's... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Don't mean to start a polemic, I know the term is in common use in the sim community, it's just a thought...

Yip I always laugh when I see "full real" bandied about as an expression.

It's a game!

If it was real with a real death at the end I doubt any of us would play the game!!!

If it was real the discussion boards would cease to exist as we would all be killed off one by one till there was only one left.

The one left would be locked up for having discussions with himself.

to the thread starter :

the fight could have been finished at the 40 second mark , whoever was in the spit is a waster of perfectly good shooting opportunitys

better visual tracking helps cut down on this happening

This has been a 109 online tactic since 2001! what would you know , you bearly ever fly the 109 & sucked at ACM back then - tell me the last time you booted up FB v1.22 . the 109 (all of them) used to be dogs at knife fighting compared to v3.xx

Yip I always laugh when I see "full real" bandied about as an expression.
full real is max settings , the hardest way to play the game
