Im contemplating on buying a new joystick, since my X-52 stick is acting up, and this one caught my eye, since its an afordable FF stick. I previously owned a Extreme 3D, that was quite nice, and i have pretty good experience with logitech products. So its the Force Feedback equiped Force 3D any good, or am i better of getting something else?

I've got one - use it with an X-45 throttle. I like it. Price was a deciding factor. Can't compare to others on market, but it is noisy. Doesn't bother me as I play with headphones on - not too popular if playing when someone's trying to watch t.v. in same room http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Might be a point to ponder.

Stay away from the Logitech Force 3D Pro. I started with it, enjoyed the FFB, but cause a lot of "spasmodic" movement on the roll and pitch axes.. I am now on a Saitek X52 Pro, quite satisfied, but probably will be looking for more in my next one.

I am selling my Logitech BTW! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

well i read a couple of rewievs online, and said to myself, why not. So i bought it. And i think i made a mistake, cause so far its just not doin it for me. I keep crashing and spining, and is it just me, or is the FF kicking in at the strangest times? Instead of kicking in when the aircraft is shaking and being near-stall point, it either starts before the shaking or after the shaking, so it just confuzes you with mixed signals. Also, the travel of the stick is shorter than on the x-52, so that will take some getting used to. I dont like the "stepines" of the stick. I think im gonna give it a try for a couple of days and see if i grow acustomed to it, otherwise im switching back to my old x-52, and try to return this one to the store.

I like mine but it took me a week or so of tweaking to get it so that I liked it.

This may help you:

In the Logitech Profiler I use these Global Device settings:

Also I downloaded a set of ForceFeedback effects from here (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=3656)

I elected to use the Light effects.

With all of these changes I am now happy with this stick.
I couldn't afford anything else and felt I couldn't live without ForceFeedback.

I hope this helps you.
