I played the COD demo, I liked it at first, then realised it was so scripted.
H&D2 is so far advanced than COD and MOHAA.

I played the new MOHAA Breakthrough add-on , it was terrible. I was so disappointed in it.

I have had H&D2 for 5 days now and waken at 11am and play till 5am, it is so engrossing, in fact I am still on the first campaign.

I couldn't agree more (see my thread called "please hear me out). H&D2 is the best game I have played in a very long time. There are alot of planes in H&D2 like Macchi-200's, Stukas, Ju-52's, Ju-88's, 109's, spitfires, and I believe Tempest/Typhooons. There are probably more, these are just the ones I have seen (except Typhoon, which I saw in screenshot gallery). So now it is IL-2 related. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I wouldn't recommend downloading the first H&D though, I thought it was pretty bad. The second is completley different in almost every way and is an incredible experience IMO. COD may have gotten the press, but H&D2 has the goods.

I recommend that you DONT download this game and compare it to H&D2.
I hated the original H&D but H&D2 is a totally new game, new engine etc, and is really fantastic.

I was eagerly awaiting COD after playing the demo but since playing H&D2 , I will wait a few months and maybe buy COD if at all.

I should be preparing to get blown away by the next version then!

CoD is incredibly immersive. its hard to tear yourself away. its WAY better than the demo leads it to be also.

I bought COD on Friday and took it back today. It took me less than 7 hours to play through the entire thing on "hardened" level. After playing H&D2, COD felt like a rail shooter. Do you realize that you can't even do something as simple as open a door? I wouldn't bother with the game at all. The two demo levels were pretty much the best ones in the game. The British levels, apart from the initial assault on Pegasus Bridge, are BORING! Since you are alone in those missions, the only novelty that COD has to offer, namely the supposed "teamwork" factor, is absent and what you are left with is a very rudimentary shooter.

COD is a very nice looking game, and it's fun to play through once, but it's so scripted that it actually felt like a chore to play through a mission for a second time. It's kind of like watching a rerun of a baseball game. There is just no point.

Get H&D2. It's a much deeper, more satisfying game.

I highly recommend H&D 2! If you loved the original or anything related to WW2 land combat through the S.A.S. eyes then get this now! Great immersion factor, I bought it last weekend, Sunday to be exact, got home at around 10PM and installed it just to check it out...I went to sleep at 3AM! Had work at 7AM, now that is called immersion!
