First glitch already on the announcement web-page http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Saitek generated over $43 million of net sales and its gross margins exceeded those generated by Mad Catz in its latest twelve months. Mad Catz expects the acquisition to be accretive to its fiscal 2008 earnings and cash flow.
For maximum flexibility the R660 GT features a semi-automatic gearstick lever which can be mounted on either side of the wheel to suit driving style. The stick clips into the base unit securely yet can be easily unclipped and switched from one side to the other.

Under the terms of the agreement, the $30 million purchase consideration is subject to working capital adjustment and is comprised of $15.5 million in cash from Mad Catz' cash on hand and borrowings under the Company's existing credit facility, as well as the issuance to the seller by Mad Catz of $14.5 million of convertible notes.

Obviously, the announcement was copied from a product announcement... that's what all corporations do http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Could be a good thing... when Gateway bought E Machines a few years back.. they did so partly because E Machies was making decent boxes and Gateway had really slacked off.. they just had the money.. and the resulting products over the last few years have been better for both. At least thats what I hear.. Id never buy a Gateway box..

Well lets wait a while until the 'mad catz' versions of the X52 come out (for xbox) and see what the quality is like.
Looks like CH could be my next stick.
