I need help setting up the bombsight, particularly on the He-111. When I press my bombsight adjustment keys, no knobs move, no info in the sight moves. How am I supposed to tell the settings for the bombsight?

Firstly double check your key bindings. No, we don't think you're an idiot but it always helps.

Secondly, are you only worried about your settings being represented on the actual sight controls?
It is a nice touch to have, but if you can still see the information displayed on the right hand side where everything else is shown (power, prop pitch, lights on/off, etc is displayed here) then you'll still be ok.

Third, make sure you are in the bombardier/navigator seat, not the pilot seat. Hit C to cycle seats. Shift+F1 is how you look through the bombsight eyepiece once you are in the seat. Is the Numlock on your keypad engaged? Alot of people map bombsight to keypad, so this may or may not apply to you.

Fourth, if you cannot see any visual representation whatsoever whether that be on the sight controls themselves or in the information display on the right edge of the screen, then you may have somehow disabled those messages from appearing. Do you get the engine on/off, gear down/up, power % messages still?

Give us a little more information about the problem, the conditions you are in, any other problems you might be having. If this doesn't help one of our more learned community members can surely chime in to help.
