Does it look like the symbol of the assassins to you?
To me it does. This symbol can be found on a cross in France and it would have a connection with the 2012 cataclysm. That's what it said in a documentary I saw on Nostradamus. It's called "La Croix d'Hendaye" if any of you wants to do a little bit of research.

Been said before, will be said again.

Origin of the Assassin logo is shown below:

I still stand by saying it is the staple remover.

the art team had to make the logo on a Friday afternoon before going to the bar so it was either the stapler or the staple remover since they were in front of the artist on his desk.

Yeah, as pettern seeking, and finding!!!, animals we are stuck with this people whom allways see patterns where there is non to see....

You see this pattern seeking all over the place, in religion, in politics, in intrigues, you name it, so it is no surprize that someone finds a "pattern" in AC2 logos too...

Human mind is programed to seek AND see structures like this, it's in our nature. Read about it and get over it, its just the way we are. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Staple remover is obvious

well considering the masons are linked with the Templars going way back.. it wouldn't make much sense for that to come from the Mason insignia, although it does look somewhat similar.

but either way since the symbol is an A for the name Assassin, any combination would of looked similar.

I definitely say staple remover all the way though.

Staple remover/Templar remover.
Whatever, its all basically nonsense anyway and just some symbol that the developers probably came up with over a few beers at the local pub on a cocktail napkin. It's a freaking GAME! Stop taking it all so seriously for Heavens sake. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Lol guys, I no its the freemason symbol

I didnt just type in a random word which happened to be freemason, to compare it to the AC symbol

Anyways, look into the freemasons, they have interesting stories behind them, up to you if you believe them or not though
