Hello all,

As my current rig is not up to the task of running perfect mode even post patch, I wondered if the playability of perfect mode had been significantly improved for mid-high end computers (in the 2.6 GHz and up range)?

I plan to build a new PC in the next couple of months and I am curious about those great looking "perfect" visuals.

Thanks for the info!

Perfect is much more playable on my machine - 1.65Ghz Tbird, 512MB 3200DDR, 420Mhz FSB, 64mb Ti4200 overclocked to ~4400 speeds. Not quite amazingly playable with FSAA or Anisotropic filtering on, but certainly good enough at 1280x960 or 1024x768. Much better than before - worst case FPS is up by about 5-10, best case is up by about 20 or so.
