Well a great game right up to almost the end. Then some great minded developer decided to put a puzzle that requires four symbols which you have to figure out where to place each one. Its like trying to win the lottery. Do you know how many different combinations that are possible. Heres the kicker, it changes everytime the game is played.

Mine actually worked my first try.

Actually there are only 4 possible combinations per game. The symbols are on the bahro floor. If you keep them in the same order that you found them, then it is just a question of circular alignment. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

The order is identical to the order that they appear on the floor. Only one combination there. (Two if you're odd enough to consider the symbols from below, but that would just be stretching things.)

(Four to eight if you consider there's not 'starting' and 'ending' point to the order, but I don't think the actual positions matter, just the order.

Yeah I got mine on the First try too.

I just looked at them from one angle and drew them in exactly the order they were on the floor and it worked perfectly.

You have 4 symbols and 4 positions. I just made a chart , picked a symbol for top, bottom, left, and right.
Then switched a pair at a time...took about 5 or 6 tries for it to work.
You need somthing so you doing start redoing patterns you have already tried

This puzzle is a lot easier than the earlier betas. Not only did you need the correct order, but you had to figure out which one was at the top. I think there was a hint with the one at the top having a little dot at the bottom or something. In later builds only the order was important. Of course, even it the position was important, you only need at most 3 wrong tries http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I got it right the first time in my first beta run only to be rewarded by being locked in my hut with no books http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif It was called "the end game bug" -- thankfully this has not been happening in prime http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Or has it?

What age is the last puzzle found? Going back to the original cleft doesn't have any like symbols to choose.

Look around the (new, improved) Bahro cavern.

By the way, I was just messing around taking screenshots, and I revisited the Aegura balcony that you get a book to. (Is that the Neighborhood?) Took another look at the stone there. It was incomprehensible when I first saw it, but now I realize it tells you exactly what to do to finish the game! Take a look.

http://members.cox.net/srikandi/bahrostone.jpg

On the left, four colums in a cave leading to a starry void. Each column goes up to Relto (island in clouds) and then comes back to the cave, on the right. Now the cave leads to Aegura (a city on spires in a lake)!

Not sure about the eye in the middle. Anyone?

I did go back and looked at that stone with the Bahro drawings on the Neighborhood balcony. I was clicking on everything in the Bahro cave. Need to scrutinize again and again. Thanks. I thought I saw the cursor change for a sec, then I couldn't get it to appear again. Those talking drawings must have changed then. I clicked on one and it seemed the same. I'll look closer.

Easylips: Nothing to click on. Go through any of the journey doors; you'll be back in the Bahro cavern (where you got the columns). There are now symbols on the floor. That's the imager key.

Yes, I've been walking across those symbols on the floor in different order for an hour. Is that the trick? Walking across in a certain order like the Kadish cyan glow floor puzzle? Bahro (blue totems returned, yellow light). If so, how does one know which symbol to step on first?

I've already jumped in the hole and back to Relto and then to Zandi cleft. But Zandi is gone.

Those symbols go around the imager button in the cleft. like the combination for teh message when you first arrived.

I think you missed something Srikandi said, Easylips.

Where've you seen an imager/projector before?

Ah, now your talking. Thanks. I used that imager upon returning and never noticed them. Logically the puzzle would have to be in that location. What goes around comes around. Thanks again.

Those monkey-like creatures on the barbed-wire mountain look similar to the ones on the balcony tablet.

Right -- presumably they're the Bahro.

You mean those hanging beasties in Eder Kemo? They are harmless and eating the lichen from the rock. When I entered Kemo the very first time, I thought they are important somehow and tried to lure them down - in vain.

I just looked at one and said...go away!

Oh, and I had to go back to the Bahro cave to look at my symbols again. Had one wrong. Found that the place where you arrive in Bahro is the symbol at the top. Then do it in order turning right and around.

That should help one person.
