Hi all,

The Avro Anson will as I understand be available to us in the forthcoming BoB SoW.

Could we replicate this amazing incident?

Is Oleg aware?

Footnote: I was in Wagga Wagga, Australia a couple of years ago on holiday but the Aviation Museum was closed.

I doubt they would put something like this in the game. Its a once in a lifetime incident that isnt worth the effort.

Interesting but unlikely. There's always the 190 parasite scenario in IL-2 tho.

Must have been one heck of a pilot.

Sorry to hear he lost his life in an accident at 25... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Hi all,

That is the tragedy of war. As a trainee pilot, he managed to land both planes instead of bailing out. An amazing piece of airmanship.

But he was killed by a bus a few years later in WW2 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

And how was this possible? Was he jumping back and forth between the two cockpits? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

he used the engines to propel it to a crash landing, not to fly around.
