Just in case you haven't heard, Mission for Today is not only allowing topics, they are allowing links and downloads of mod <EDIT> accessories </EDIT> too.

Thought it was interesting enough to pass along. Would have posted a link to that thread, but I figure most of you know where to find it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Just be warned some mods dont adhere to a good standard and coulgle boggle up your installation. All mods at AAA have to adhere to a certain standard of directory structure so as to easily disable and install them.

People can find out about M4T policy about mods at their leisure at the M4T site.

For the record... because of the quintessential nature of the site, links to M4T will still be allowed... direct links to mods at M4T will be treated like direct links to mods anywhere else and deleted. It is a technicality yes.. for now that is still our policy.. we do not allow direct links to mods here.. Because M4t offers so much more than just mods that is essential to the full understanding and enhancement to the sim we will NOT ban linking to it.

For the sake of clarity and to prevent another internet myth being created.....

NO MODS available at M4T only files for use with mods, ie skins for new aircraft, missions and campaigns that use new maps and objects, strictly no mods available from M4T.

M4T Uploads policy (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=ForumsPro&file=viewtopic&t=4322)

The recent policy change relates only to allowing links to mod sites in the forums. A similar policy to that here at UBI except we include the dot com http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks for clarification EuroSnoopy and sorry about misunderstanding - I should have said perhaps mod accessories to be more accurate.

Cheers

I still do not understand why we can discuss mods and post screenshots but links are forbidden. Honestly it really makes no sense to me whatsoever. IMHO.

Where, here or M4T?
Thread is about M4T and we allow linking.
