View Full Version : Anno 1404 Venice retail can't use online profile

Since like 2 weeks I can't play on my online profile in Anno1404Venice retail, nothing works SP,MP,scenarios, I've made a ticket but no one has answered after 10 days...
I don't get any info or errors, it's just "waiting for online transactions" and "downloading" and that's it. When I try to pick online profile it does the same, but game automatically creates offline profile "annonymous". Any idea how to fix it or it's just ubisoft problem? I've seen on steam that people has the same problem on nonHE version of the game.

Sorry this has been like this for years where you can play and not play online. They are always having problems with the online stuff.

But, few years ago i had no problem with this. Now I need to wait for support and they're not answering my tickets :/
I want my profile back, because I want to finally get golden ship.

If you can't get your profile back I do have a profile that is like 90% done. It has the Gold ship.

Well ubisoft support right now is useless. My online profile was deleted on their servers(cant download it), good thing I have a copy on my computer, but ubisoft still can't read properly what I'm writing and focuses on not important right now thing. Hope they will fix it before christmas

I can see you had concerns regarding changing your Ubisoft password for our support team, and that is completely understandable. This is not something we would ever usually ask for and it's not required for most situations. As Anno 1404 is an old game, we don't have the ability to investigate your profile without a more hands on method.

Thank you for answer, I hope support will solve this now with all info. But that password change is scammy AF I'm surprised You don't have proper tools to do this.

Changing the password will not work. I have two accounts and both of them will not get me online play. I don't play online but I do have a online account.

It hasn't work in months nothing new here. 1404 has been having problems with the online accounts from basically day one.

The best thing to do is drop the retail version and go with the new 1404 HE. I have been with the Anno series from day one. I love the 1404 VS all the rest. The retail version is pass it's time.

Do HE have problems with profiles? I would play HE but they didn't make it to work on W7... And I need my profile back, because I don't see me doing campaign on hard all over again to get all achievements on campaign, because I've done it 2 times(on offline profile until i had to reinstall windows and rip my profile, and on the online)

It should run on windows 7. Plus on 1404 HE yes you can play online but there really no online profile. I just tested it started a game and then save it. It save in you documents folder Anno 1404 Venice.

I bought 1404 HE from Ubisoft and I can't play at all. Game won't start. And I know is their "new" platform patch that causing this nonsense.

Don't know if I have online profile or not. What I know is that their platform is using ROP (Return Oriented programming).

The reports is longer than that above and is clearly that the upc.exe doing something not so clean.

The new mighty patch is developed for mining data and other stuff. I know there is transition of data between the old and new one but my account got 2 titles how can they mess that up?


Is about time to LET me play the game I PAID FOR.

For 3 days I tried to fix the messed up locked game by Ubiconect thinking that is my win 10 , removed C++ and updated drivers, reinstalled C++ , even updated windows to 20H2 I mean WHAT else somebody can do the FIX a mess by Ubisoft? Seriously. You call this Gaming platform when you lock out the one who pays for it for 3 days???????

Sry Ubisoft I haven't spend much money in your huge sales and offers this season, but tell me one single reason, why should I.
