I was quite disappointed, there is nothing on the bonus DVD that we haven't seen before.

I think you are mistaken. Though some of us posted some of the screenshots and bits from the videos as soon as we'd got the disc.

The below were totally new screenshots for example, showing more detail than any previously seen (if you've seen these before they were probably taken from the disc, and uploade there by me - it's my own Photobucket album):

And what about the video clip of the waves crashing on the shore (threre are two video excerpts of waves, I mean the one from eyepoint level looking out to sea).

We also got to see the aircraft take off and fly over the cliffs. Look at some of the other stuff we got on the link below. Note that we got scores of photos of the new objects, tanks and vehicles!

Please watch all the content all the way through - even if it is kinda slow in places. The footage of the spit taking off and turning over the small village was AMAZING http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I just hope that the FM, DM, and campaign systems are as good as the visuals - if I have to pick one or the other I'd rather have as realistic performing a sim as possible that looks like the current one than one that performs like the current one but looks prettier.

I haven't got my 1946 yet, but I will definately check it out when it comes. But Oleg, dont make potential customers buy your marketing for SoW http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif. Throw it out there for the masses, and don't be so hush, hush.

I dragged out the disk and watched it last night, prompted by a question on BoB and 6dof. There's stuff on there I didn't notice the first time around. The music gets a lot irritating after 3 or 4 seconds, but there'
s always mute.

Most of the detailed 3d images of the cockpit are right at the end. Pity, would have been the first thing I showed people.

Did anyone notice the joystick on Oleg's desk. Thrustmaster Afterburner!
